SASS Certified Range Safety Training Course

In SASS®, everyone is considered a safety officer and is encouraged to assist in the enforcement and strict adherence to all safety rules. SASS® certified safety courses are essential to the education and safety of those participating in the sport of Cowboy Action Shooting™ at all levels of competition.

It is suggested all competitors attend at minimum the level one course to ensure the understanding of all SASS® safety covenants and basic rules of the game.

SASS® makes every effort to ensure active, SASS® Certified course instructors are available in all regions of the U.S. and internationally.

Additional info: The ROBS & CASRO class will be held at the SVSC Classroom 1st house on the right past the trap field look for the SASS RO sign. Enter at the LH side door as the RH is blocked. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early so we can get started right at 9:00. The New SASS RO program consist of two courses the SASS Range Operations Basic Safety Course (ROBS) and the Cowboy Action Shooting Range Operations Course (CASRO). Both courses will be taught consecutively the same day, the ROBS first and then the CASRO. You must take the ROBS before taking the CASRO. We are starting Fresh so there are No Refreshers. We would like to see all shooters especially those who operate the timers take the ROBS course along with the CASRO course.
