That's a very nice looking 1911 you've got there Abilene.  The finish on that one is so bright, you probably have to wear sunglasses when you take it outdoors to shoot.

Okay, here is one of Cimarron's show guns.  I had my hands on it at Shot Show.  The engraving was done by Terry Theis from Harper, Texas.  It is a copy of a period Colt design.  It will likely be sporting ivories at some point, or at least Tru-Ivory.

Still have the mental image of T-bone climbing up a ladder in the middle of the barn 20 plus feet stacking the empty pizza boxes (that was supplied BTW as part of the very fair entry I might add, dinner on Saturday as well, AND the parking lot Fish Fry). No charge to eat.......That was good stuff. Here a my 1911s.  Not as fancy as some, but I like to shoot them.

Springfield Armory GI

Springfield Armory Mil-Spec.

Les Baer PremierII

The first two will work for WBAS traditional and the Les Baer for Modern (I think)

Hi Tom,

I would love to go to CaC! Love those folks. Someday... Hey! I finally made the US Open, so there is hope for me. BTW, I love pizza. Since Hubby can't eat gluten, I so miss Round Table!!! Cry

I was blessed to have the PL Fish Fry at the US Open. I think it was Copperhead cooking and there was a yummy yellow drink in canning jars... Shocked

Thanks Lone Dog for the info on BBQ. Wink

Norvelle, looks good to me! Hey! Aren't you in California? If so, will you be at the CA State WBAS match and Arroyo Cantua near Sacramento? Or will you be at 5 Dogs? If so, hope to meet you!

Regards,

Allie Mo
