The Buffalo Range Riders Shooting Schedule:
The Buffalo Range Riders Club will hold its monthly matches on the
weekend of the first Sunday. The weekend of the
second Sunday each month is reserved when there
are conflicts with other events scheduled at the Ranch.
The Action Shooting Club
will use the Saturday preceding the first Sunday
of the month for setup, work parties and range
practice. Sunday will be match day with registration
starting at 8:30 AM and the safety briefing
at 9:00 AM.
The match will be followed by an awards ceremony
and club meeting.
The Mounted Shooting Club will
use the first Sunday of the month
for match day. Buffalo Range Rider Mounted events
will start at 10:30 AM with practice and warm-up stages.
During this time riders will have the opportunity
to practice all aspects of mounted shooting. Those
new to mounted shooting will also have the opportunity
to receive coaching and advise from veteran mounted
shooters. At 1:30 PM there will be a club meeting
to discuss upcoming events and club business. At 2:00
PM the monthly fun match with awards and club points
will start.
