Selection of each recipient is determined by a review
of the SASS Scholarship Foundation Review Board
of Trustees. Decisions will be based solely on the
application process. Recommendations will be accepted
only within the applicant's submittal package. Individual
recommendations not included with the applicant's
submittal package will not be accepted.
Scholarship funds will be paid directly to the
educational institution the student will be
attending.
Selection will be made without regard to the
applicant's race, color, ethnic origin, religious
belief, sex, marital status, or physical handicap,
in accordance with Title IX of the Educational
Amendments, and with section 504 of the Rehabilitation
Act of 1973.
Official acceptance confirmations will be mailed
one week prior to END of TRAIL. Official announcements
will be made during opening ceremonies at END
of TRAIL and in the August issue of The Cowboy
Chronicle.
